The Wisdom of Faith with Huston Smith

Sundays at 5:30pm, dates and topics listed below.

Recent headlines suggest that there is a real need in our society and world to cultivate an understanding of other faith traditions.  Join us for a five part program on comparative religion based on a series of interviews with the distinguished world religions scholar Huston Smith.  The Wisdom of Faith is a five part video and discussion series that explores the world's great religions including Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.  At each meeting we will watch part of this video program produced by Bill Moyers and then discuss the themes and material.  Supplementary readings will be available for those who wish to explore further.  Led by Jeff Barz-Snell on Sundays this fall.  Note to parents: This is intentionally scheduled at the same time as the OWL program.  Note to everyone: We probably will turn this into a simple potluck as the program progresses.  To sign up, please call the office of speak with the Minister.
